Mixed Ages
This is the essential Music Together class, one that a child can attend from birth through age five, and through all nine song collections. This basic class follows the recommendations of child development researchers, grouping children of a variety of ages in one class. This approach fosters natural, family-style learning where younger children enjoy watching and imitating older ones; older children learn by leading younger ones; and adults are happy because the children in the family can go to class together.

Each child participates at his or her own developmental level in singing, moving, chanting, listening, observing, or exploring musical instruments. We welcome the whole family to join in this important family music experience and any caregiver, parents, grandparents, nanny, can bring the child(ren) to class.

Each semester includes:10 weekly 45-minute classes teaching a new song collection every fall, winter and spring and our 6-week summer session. Our December session runs for 3 weeks.
New CD's each semester with the songs, rhythm chantes, "play-alongs", tonal and rhythm patterns used in class.
Beautifully illustrated songbook with family activities to enjoy at home.

Summer 2026

Summer 2026

Our upcoming Kazoo Collection features the Music Together® classic “Me, You, and We,” along with favorites like “See the Pony Galloping” and the Spanish folksong “Tingalayo.” Families will enjoy bringing music to life as we dramatize the nursery rhyme “Old King Cole” and sing about favorite foods in “Apples and Cherries.”

This six-week class is designed for children from birth through age five and is grounded in child development research. Our family-style learning environment supports natural musical growth—young children learn through observation and imitation, while older children build confidence and leadership skills. Parents and caregivers appreciate the ease of bringing siblings together to one joyful class.

Each 45-minute session invites children to participate at their own pace through singing, movement, chanting, listening, and hands-on instrument exploration. We welcome the whole family—parents, grandparents, and caregivers—to share in this engaging and enriching musical experience. Siblings under 6 months and over 6 years attend free with a paid sibling. Materials are included for home use.
